Description
The coins are rectangular in shape, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The sides of the coins are notched.
Obverse
Bottom left – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, around which is the inscription: REPUBLIC OF BELARUS; bottom right – denomination: 20 RUBLES (on silver) and 1 RUBLE (on copper-nickel), year of minting (on silver – alloy standard); in the center – an image of a fragment of the painting "Silent Autumn" and a palette with a stylized image of the artist's face.
Reverse
In the center is an image of a fragment of the painting: "WINTER DREAM", below is the inscription: V. BYALYNITSKY-BIRULYA and the years of life 1872–1957.
