Description
The coins are circular, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The edges are ribbed. The surface of the coins is oxidized.
Obverse
In a circle framed by a geometric ornament is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center is a solar sign consisting of an eight-pointed geometric figure with decorative elements, symbolizing the sun's rays; below it is indicated: the year of minting, on the silver coin - the alloy standard; along the circle are inscriptions: at the top - THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, at the bottom - TWO RUBLES (on the silver coin) and ADZIN RUBLE (on the copper-nickel coin).
Reverse
The center depicts the interior of a village hut, where a table is set for the remembrance of the departed; above, above the entrance to the hut, two angels hold a candle (on the silver coin, an orange synthetic crystal insert imitates a flame); to the left, right, and top are relief elements of the Belarusian national ornament with Soul motifs; at the bottom, in a circle, is the inscription: DZYADY.
