Description
The coin is circular in shape, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The edge of the coin is ribbed.
Obverse
in a circle framed by a geometric ornament is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, under it is the year of minting and the alloy standard; inscriptions around the circle: at the top - "REPUBLIC OF BELARUS", at the bottom - "TWO RUBLES".
Reverse
In the center is a relief image of a discus thrower, on the right is an inscription in two rows: “DAY 2000” and “ALIMPIYSKIY GULM” (Athletic Games).
