Description
The coin is circular, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The edge of the coin is notched.
Obverse
At the top is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, with the inscription REPUBLIC OF BELARUS around the circle; in the center, in a circle, is a decorative composition in the form of a flower with four petals, on which are depicted the plants included in this series; at the bottom is the denomination: 20 RUBLES (on the silver coin) and 1 RUBLE (on the copper-nickel coin); to the left of the denomination is the year of minting, and to the right is the alloy standard (on the silver coin).
Reverse
In the center is a relief decorative image of the plant Epipogium aphyllum, to the right and left of which are fragments of this plant in close-up; inscriptions around the circle: at the top - "Epipogium aphyllum", at the bottom - "Epipogium aphyllum".
