Description
The coin is circular, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The edge of the coin is notched.
Obverse
At the top is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, with the following inscriptions around the circle: at the top – THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, at the bottom – the denomination of 50 and 20 RUBLES (on gold coins), 10 RUBLES (on silver coins) and 1 RUBLE (on copper-nickel coins), on the left – the year of minting, on the right – the alloy standard (on gold and silver coins); in the center is a stylized image of the ski jumps of the city of Lahti against the background of a “frosty pattern” executed in the style of a geometric national ornament.
Reverse
In the center is a stylized image of skiers in a circular composition and the logo of the International Ski Federation (FIS); around the circle are the inscriptions: at the top – NORDIC WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS, at the bottom – LAHTI 2017.
