Description
The coin is circular in shape, with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse sides. The edge of the coin is ribbed.
Obverse
In a circle framed by a geometric ornament is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, under it is the year of minting and the alloy standard; along the circle are inscriptions: at the top - "REPUBLIC OF BELARUS", at the bottom - "TWO RUBLES".
Reverse
The center features a football with a world map printed on it using three colors of pad printing: the football in black and white, and the world map in gray, with Germany, the host city of the 18th FIFA World Cup, highlighted in black. The football is surrounded by 18 pentagons, with the inscription "2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY™" written around the perimeter.
